The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
