A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday following a recent revelation of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was announced in a public statement from the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Diagnosis
In a personal essay late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that targets the blood and bone marrow.
